The Mass Animation project is a Facebook application which manages an animation competition. The application was developed as a crowdsourcing platform used to manage the production of a short animation. The movie, which was produced by Facebook users, will be released to theaters later this year as an intro for a full featured motion pictures. The director of the movie is Yair Landau, owner of Mass Animation, who brought along many talented and creative people to work on this project. Intel, Dell, and Autodesk sponsored the world- wide animator competition, in which the 100 winners got to participate in the creation of the movie.
